The history of art is the history of any activity or product made by humans in a visual form for communicative purposes, expressing ideas, emotions or, in general.
Today at Pinecrest Institute, JHS and HS students presented their projects of different expressions of art. Some of them investigated and worked in worldwide art movements such as Cubism, Surrealism, Pop Art, and, Post Modernism.
Other group of students, investigated the pieces of art of some of the most important Mexican artists like, Alfaro Siqueiros, Diego Rivera, Tamayo, and Dr. Atl. Where they had to know the materials and techniques they used and the time they where made in our Mexican History.
The Culinary Art was also present in this fair, students had to study and investigated about the roots and common food of each region. Some of them presented the gastronomy of a country and others explained about the typical food in some Mexican States.
We congratulate our students and teachers because they did a great job.
